RITMO RECORDS is celebrating its seventh year in business and great things continue to happen! The Independent record label was created in 2003 by veteran
singer/songwriter Daniel Mendoza with only a shoestring budget and blind faith. Since that time, RITMO RECORDS has grown far beyond its original projections in 2003
and at a much faster rate. The label finished 2nd in the 2005 Tejano Magazine "Best Tejano Record Label Of The Year" vote. RITMO RECORDS has also had the
privelege of having four bands nominated for Tejano Music Awards as well as two finalists for Grammy nominations! CEO Daniel Mendoza was also voted as the
runner up as 2005 "Most Influential Person in Tejano Music" by Tejano Magazine, and Senior Vice President Bob Olivo was voted as "Tejano Person of The Year" for
2009.

Mendoza has played in several bands ranging from Rock to Tejano music. He wrote and published his first song at the age of 12. That song entitled "When Will I
See You Again" (Five Star Music Masters-Boston) was purchased by a major label, and encouraged him to write more. Most noted for his soulful vocal sound, his
biggest previous success has come in the R&B and Hip-Hop market charting a #1 hit "Let Me Be Your Guy" in the United Kingdom that actually enjoyed a six month
ride on the top 40 there. He has officially released the highly anticipated new single "I Can't Get Enough" (Produced by multi-Grammy award winning producer
Chris "Urbano B" Dominguez) from the upcoming album "No More Questionz", and more songs are in the mix. ~Mendoza~ recorded a single called "Peligrosa" with
award winning Tejano band Los Jalapeños that enjoyed wide radio success in the US and Mexico. Most recently, ~Mendoza~ has started writing Spanish music
again and has been working with GilFlo Productions (MTV Fame) and Margarita "Baby" Villa and Aldo Del Gado Flores from Mexico. ~Mendoza~ is working on his
first of two scheduled releases for 2009 so be on the lookout for these CDs. One (Not yet named) will be Cumbias and Tejano, and the other an R&B, and Hip-Hop
adventure called "No More Questionz". ~Mendoza~ is currently scheduling for 2009 throughout the USA and Mexico so watch for tour dates near you!
